Caribbean Facts
The Caribbean is made up of 7,000 Islands in a region of approximately
One (1) Million square miles, of which 31 Islands are Government state run. 
Thirteen (13) of these  Islands are members of the United Nation (UN).
The Caribbean is currently Govern by a body call the Caribbean Community and Commons Market which is  referred to as
CARICOM. Each islands and their Governments are allowed to become members of  this  body. However, to date, only 19 Islands are members of the CARICOM organization.

Most of the Caribbean Islands today are still under some form of Colonial type  ownership by their former slave masters such as the British Empire, France, Spain, Dutch, Germany etc. It is estimated that from the 12 million 5 hundred slaves that were taken from the shores of Africa through the Triangular Trade journey to the west, only a total of 10 million 5 hundred  Slaves made it to shore while 2 million perished at sea. 
Of those who made it to shore,  60% went to the Caribbean islands, 35% went to Central America (Brazil) and 5% went to the United States. 


Today the Caribbean Papulation count based on worldwide census of 2019,  is showing  approximately 44.4 Million people now living in the 31 Islands of the Caribbean region, 95 Million in Central America  (Brazil) and 4.5 Million  now living throughout the 51 States of  the US.

3. Dependencies Territories, (These countries are fully govern and  supported by the British Empire)

4. French control Territories
French Guiana
Guadeloupe
Martinique
Saint Barthelemy 
Saint Martin

5. Kingdom of the Netherlands
